Tim Hermes is the founder and President of Monterey Watch Company, an independent watch studio based in Swannanoa. A retired media executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of marketing and event experience, Tim and his wife Angela moved to Swannnanoa in May 2023. 

During his career Tim was an award winning media sales executive who managed a $10M portfolio of global media properties, and launched several online brands and trade shows. A lifelong timepiece enthusiast, Tim launched Monterey Watch Company in 2022. It is now the fastest growing online timepiece retailer in the world.

An outdoors enthusiast and avid mountain biker, Tim is passionate about his new WNC home and hopes to make a positive contribution to the FANS Board.
