FANS Fall Movie Night
Grab a blanket and chairs, round up the kids (or your friends!), and get ready for a little Halloween fun under the stars with an outdoor showing of Hotel Transylvania on Friday evening, October 23, in Grovemont Park. Arrive around 6:30 pm to claim your spot and get in the spooky spirit before the sun goes down. The movie will start around 7 pm; snacks will be available for purchase for a nominal fee.
In Hotel Transylvania (rated PG; 91 minute runtime), Count Dracula runs a lavish hotel where famous monsters—including Frankenstein, the Mummy and the Invisible Man—can vacation safely away from humans. Things get hilariously complicated when an ordinary human shows up and takes a liking to Dracula's daughter, Mavis. The animated comedy from Columbia Pictures features the voices of Adam Sandler and Selena Gomez.
Put on a sweater, pack some blankets and come check out the zany happenings at the Hotel Transylvania. What better way to get ready for Halloween than an outdoor movie, a bunch of lovable monsters and a little October magic in Grovemont? Grovemont Park is located at 251 Stonewall Avenue, adjacent to the Swannanoa Library.
